Georgia enters its Saturday game against Florida as the 11.5 point favorite. The matchup takes place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta because the Gator Bowl is currently under construction. Florida is ranked No. 17, while Georgia holds the No. 3 spot in the national rankings. The Bulldogs have won nine of the last 10 meetings in this rivalry.

The contest marks the ninth week of the college football season. SportsLine experts provided predictions for several high-profile games on the slate, including this SEC clash. They also offered picks for Minnesota versus Indiana, Northwestern versus Oregon, Ohio State versus USC, Clemson versus Florida State, and Oklahoma State versus Iowa State.

SportsLine analyst Eric Cohen noted that Georgia has gone 15-0 outright as a double-digit favorite against ranked teams since 2020. The team is 12-3 against the spread in those same situations. Cohen pointed out that after Georgia’s last five losses during the regular season or SEC Championship Game, the Bulldogs won the subsequent game by at least 14 points. He predicted Georgia would win by 22 points, projecting a final score of 42-20.

Mike Tierney analyzed the Minnesota versus Indiana matchup, where Minnesota is favored by 20.5 points. He cited Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover’s injury status as a key factor. Indiana has scored 41 points across its last three games. Tierney mentioned that Minnesota held Iowa to 10 points in its previous game. He selected Minnesota to cover the spread, noting the Hoosiers have covered only once in eight games.

Matt Severance picked Oregon to beat Northwestern, despite Oregon’s recent mediocre play. The Ducks fired their offensive coordinator after losing to Illinois. Severance highlighted that Northwestern’s offensive coordinator is former Oregon head coach Chip Kelly. Oregon must win its remaining games to keep a playoff bid alive. Several players who missed the Illinois game are expected to return.

Brad Thomas favored USC to cover a 7 point spread against Ohio State. He noted that Ohio State is without quarterback Julian Sayin. Luke Fahey has thrown only 13 passes this season, with two interceptions. Thomas observed that Big Ten teams have gone 5-9 against the spread when playing former Pac-12 schools since 2024. He predicted a close contest within a touchdown.

Eric Cohen also commented on the USC versus Wisconsin game, though the primary focus remained on the Week 9 slate. He noted Lincoln Riley’s 12-10 record on the road. Cohen predicted USC would win 23-21 with a last-second field goal. Micah Roberts selected Oklahoma State to beat Iowa State by 10 or more points. Oklahoma State leads the Big 12 in scoring with 40 points per game. Iowa State is 3-4 after losing head coach Matt Campbell to Penn State.

Sportsbooks are offering promotions for new users ahead of the games. DraftKings offers $200 in bonus bets and three months of NBA League Pass for a $5 wager. Fanatics Sportsbook provides $350 in FanCash for a $20 bet. BetMGM offers up to $1,500 in bonus bets if the first wager loses. These offers require users to be in a legal sports betting state.
