Hilary Rosen will take over as chair of BAFTA, taking the seat vacated by Sara Putt at the close of her three-year term. Ade Rawcliffe and Andrew Miller will serve as deputy chairs of the Academy, each appointed for two years.
Rosen has served on the BAFTA Television Committee since 2021 and later chaired it, work that included shaping the Television and Craft Awards and overseeing their juries. She is also director of commissioning at UKTV, where she leads the slate of original scripted and unscripted content.
An election process produced several appointments to the Board of Trustees. Charu Desodt and Caroline Levy were named chairs of the Games and Television Committees respectively, and Nahrein Kemp took the LIT Committee chair. Shrina Shah, who chairs the governance and appointments committee, also joined the board.
Rosen called the promotion "a great privilege" and said she has long been passionate about BAFTA's work promoting the screen arts and championing talent across the screen industries. She said she was delighted to work alongside the newly appointed committee chairs and the rest of the Board of Trustees.
BAFTA oversees awards, industry leadership and year-round development programs spanning film, games and television.
